Late-model XL models with forward controls no longer allow the fitting of standard rider footpegs; these kits let you mount standard footpegs on the late model XL’s with forward controls. NOTE: If converting standard forward controls to extended, a longer shifter linkage rod (101/4 long) is also required, available separately.
